Taught by Maria Miller
Join me in making your own Kaleidoscope Quilt, using a classic quilt block method, great for all experience levels. I will walk you through selecting fabrics for a successful design, sharing different design variations you can do with fabric choice, how to use a triangle ruler or template, and basics of chain piecing (my favorite). No need for a special pattern or ruler, templates will be provided in class. You’ll have fun & experience the satisfaction that comes as your own Kaleidoscope Quilt comes together & the large Kaleidoscope circles start to pop from your design, creating a stunning work of art!
For a 60” x 72” lap quilt, you will need:
- 15 Fat Quarters of colorful prints
- 15 Fat Quarters of light or low volume prints (or 2.25 yards of a solid)
- Machine in working order, thread, sewing pins, scissors, medium cutting mat, sharp rotary cutter & small ruler.
